New brand flavor for a storied Seattle baker

A Puget Sound institution since 1973, Schwartz Brothers offers a wide selection of artisan breads and pastries to wholesale and retail customers throughout our region. To compete more effectively for precious shelf space and expand into new markets, they enlisted us to reface their brand, modernizing their look while visually conveying the sense of family and tradition that has fueled them from the first batch.

Making the dough rise—fast

We started by researching other brands in the baked goods category, understanding the needs of chain grocery customers to craft a scalable identity and economical packaging solution that embodies the personality of a master baker. Next came a responsive website featuring scrumptious product photography with mouth-watering descriptions of cinnamon rolls, croissants, danishes, dessert bars, bagels and more. The site includes an introduction to the Schwartz family, the employee team, and their partners. Social media feeds bring the brand to life with each site visit.
