JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a generalist web developer to join our small-but-growing team who support number of clients and projects, large and small.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write readable, efficient code to build web sites, templates, and HTML email
- Identify and fix bugs in your code or code written by others
- Independently or collaboratively test/QA your work on contemporary browsers, clients, and devices
- Learn and utilize third-party/proprietary systems to build sites and emails on secured hardware
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of professional web development experience
- Previous work experience in a design firm or agency atmosphere preferred
- Strong base skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with source control systems (Git, Subversion)
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS) and/or e-commerce systems like Shopify are a plus
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Natural attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise multiple solutions or approaches to a particular problem
- Ability to manage multiple projects of various types efficiently
- Comfortable working with a distributed team using remote tools such as Slack, Teams, or Zoom
- Proactive team player with a responsive, can-do attitude
